ln x

Let us learn about ln x

A function in general tells the y value for the corresponding x value. The inverse of a function will tell you which x value to get that value of y.
An inverse function f -1
  • For every x in the domain of f, f -1[f(x)] = x, and
  • For every x in the domain of f -1, f[f -1(x)] = x
The domain of function f is the range of inverse function f -1 and the range of function f is the domain of inverse function f -1.
The differentiation is the branch of calculus. There are two types of calculus namely Integral calculus and differentiation calculus . The differentiation is nothing but the finding derivatives of the given function and the integral deals in solving indefinite or definite integrals. In this article we shall discuss about differentiation of ln x related problems. The following are the examples related to differentiation of ln x.

Differentiate Ln X:

Example 1: Differentiate ln x
Solution: Let f(x)= ln x
Differentiating f(x), we get
f'(x) = 1/x
So, the solution is 1/x
